There are no more issues experienced.
I've been applying the créme 2 times daily with progressing result since the follow-up; the scar used to feel stirdy and tensed.
Sex has been possible the last weeks without discomfort using condoms; the friction caused some small discomfort while penetrating, so I decided to go with condoms to take care of the friction.
Right now, this doesn't pose any problem anymore; normal intercourse is possible without any experienced discomfort as pain, pulling, burning sensation or sense of strain. The scar itself is barely visible, it's just a bit of a weird view without the frenulum.
There is a sense of lessened "pleasure", but this might be purely psychological (on my part and my girlfriends') as we need to get used to be (able again to) having "normal sex" again. And ofcourse the fact there has been cutting and stitching, it all might need to get used to gentle (sexy and hot) carress again.
I got my bill for this operation, which totalled to 70€. Reasonable amount to regain your sexlife.

Day 35: Follow up appointment
In short:
* Intercourse without condom is painful: rolling back the foreskin is without discomfort, anything beyond that causes a sharp burning pain. (the pain pulling on my frenelum used to be a numb pain)
* Intercourse with condom or masturbation is no problem
* Day to day activities are as always
* Not sure what caused the cut/rip; In the way I've lived it, I received small cuts causing my foreskin to scar and losing flexibility (which I've threated with a creme and would heal within a couple of days) Until a critical point was reached and my frenelum ripped entirely. While removing the contractive coil, it was at that moment clear the thick nylon threads could be a definate cause. By the time I went to see the urologist, it was already scarred up and tensed up.
The appointment was quick: I explained the swelling and how the threads have "dissapeared a week ago". He seemed a bit surpriced, so I was worrying for nothing. (and mistook his "after 3 weeks you can resume sexual activity")
While inquiring whether it's a common problem where the contractive coil had been malplaced, causing penile damage in order to know whether my gf can use the same anticonception (the hormonal ring is causing problems).
He brushed off my question to look at the result of the operation. I persisted later to be received with the explination it was a "combination of circumstances". According to him, my frenelum would always have been too short even though I never had any problem in 14 years of sexual activity.
After I had explained how the scar-tissue is pulling and is giving a sharp pain during intercourse he prescribed me cream to make the scartissue soft, which would speed up the healing. He mentioned I wouldn't need to pass by him anymore and would make a report for my general doctor.
Where to go from here?
I guess waiting it out a bit and continue with the creme and condoms.
And stop putting my penis inside someone when it causes some discomfort, even slight.

Day 24: post frenuloplasty impressions
Because I started to get fed up with the threads, I've ignored them causing them to dissapear during intercourse.
There is some discomfort without the threads during intercourse; I feel I need to be still careful. A condom helped alot in order to have some sort of regular intercourse.
The first changes I notice is that I don't "feel an erection" anymore. Where I've grown used to feel an erection pull at my frenulum, giving a sense of the type of erection by the tensions at the frenulum. Now I feel completely nothing of the sort.
As for pleasure; I cannot judge yet as I'm very careful, obtaining orgasm isn't a problem but it took noticably longer. (logical with being careful)

Day 21: FREEEEEDOOOOOOOM
I got fed up: 3 weeks should've been enough.
The last consulted doctor would call me back in the weekend, he didn't. He was slow and insecure. And couldn't give me any other information my body would be in the "2 percentile" which is "probably less acidic" causing the threads to remain after 3 weeks. He wanted to get a second opinion on the next action.
On monday I called him up to get news, but it took a while before it "rang a bell" who I was. Trust 0% instantly. (I switched doctors because I'm mobile and need to gain time: in the morning a doctors appointment takes up to 3 hours waiting, which means I would need to take a holiday just to get a quick peek and to ease my mind.)
I started ignoring the threads this weekend in any (sexual) activity, today all but two have come off, day 21.

Day 19
The threads are still there, which is getting annoying as I'm approaching mark "week 3" and I have a romantic weekend with my girlfriend. (week 3 would be the end of abstinence)
So I'm going to pass an doctors office to get them cut out.
The last doctors intervention, I was told; "if they stay around after a week, I'll cut them for you" but I didn't want to miss a day of work waiting in his office and reasoned they would fall out soon enough.
I'll search a doctor on my route home and be liberated of this penile burden.
(The random doctor I've consulted wanted to gain information with a colleague to make sure before intervention: I'm at the 2% of people with a lower acidity slowing down the dissolving of the stitches. He would call me on monday with a verdict, week 3-mark. If they cut, I hope my gf is ready.)

Day 14
The threads are soft, white and plushy.
A nice red line is visible where the cut has been made.
The foreskin has settled back to normal and has healed (it took me a week before rolling it back. I made the mistake not doing it earlier.)
Hoping the threads will fall out soon.
According to the urologist sexual activity should be possible and allowed next week, so I suspect they will.
There is no day-to-day discomfort other as abstinence.

Day 11
No discomfort.
Sex isn't possible with the threads, nor normal stimulation.
Yet my girlfriend managed to bring me to my heightpoint (everything was, understandably, supersensitive) with alot of patience.
Relief, astronomical.

Day 10
The stitches are becomming more and more plushy and whiter. I think they might begin to dissapear.
There's no discomfort, only when I'm desiring I get a sense of the stitches.

Day 9
No single discomfort.
Only minor inconveniences while disinfecting and remembering I have to.
Wound is closed nicely and shows a nice red line. Moving foreskin poses no problems or discomfort, less sensation where my foreskin swelled.
Stitches are still present.

Day 8
Relief astronomical.
Foreskin is less sensitive, but this seems normal after a week long swelling.
The crusty wounds have changed in appearance because of the moist environment under the foreskin. To advice of the doctor I'm sterilizing everything twice a day to hold off infection. (there is increased smegma production, I assume my body reacts to the rubbing and prior exposure to air)
Romantic weekend with sauna seems plausable in may.

Day 5-6-7
Normally I should've been able to resume normal activities, like sporting by today. (according to the urologist advice last week after the procedure)
The swelling was still impressive, with my skin pulled back. And extremely sensitive. (However I managed to go out dancing with the "bandage and wide pantalon" trick)
I decided to visit a doctor for a quick look: the skin being pulled back caused to cut off little vessles, the swelling and rolled back foreskin sortof chocked my foreskin causing the swelling.
He adviced me to try to roll the foreskin back and disinfect (start of chaffing on the swollen skin). I never re-attempted because of the impressive swelling (like a torus around my head), because I was afraid to do damage to the soft swollen skin and because of bleeding when I tried to roll back.
His words "You can push it a bit, manipulate it, the swelling will go down in a few days.. It can't hurt" gave me enough courage and comfirmation to go ahead with it.
To my relief, after occupying myself an hour or so, I managed to get my foreskin back into normal position. The swelling dissapeared over the course of a few hours.
There is no more uncomfort: the slight rubbing of thread is neglectable compared to running around with an swollen foreskin and exposed head rubbing against your clothing.
The relief is extreme.

Day 4
Because of the expose to air, the head of my penis was very dried out to the point the exteriour felt leathery. After rubbing with hydrating bodylotion (immediate result, avoided the wound and stitches) with allowing it all to air (thank god for peignoirs) gave satisfactory results.
Swelling is still present but less significant, irritation of the foreskin is more and more an issue: there is redness and the skinfold which is pressed against by the swolen skin remains moist. Possibility of cleaving, so I'm paying extra care to keep the fold dry.
The wound looks much better, there is some crusting while the threads are seeming to fade. Morningerections are annoying (the pressure felt of the stitches motivates a stronger erection) but not extremely painful.
With the nice progress, I decided to shower. To keep the head soft and hydrated, I applied the bodycream on top, the prescribed cream on the stitches while padding with bandage to avoid too much friction with clothing.
I hope during the weekend I'll be able to at least partially roll back my foreskin to increase comfort.

Day 3
The swelling still is there and got quite impressive; the foreskin is sitting pulled back and shows like a torus around my head. I read the swelling is a reaction to the stitches and my body breaking them down.
The stiches look good, pain and discomfort is minimal with a soft bandage to "pad" between clothing and avoid the stitches rubbing to my clothing.
Morning erections are not very pleasant (sensation of "pulling" at the stitches) while my sexual drive is mounting. Great need for intimacy with girlfriend, which feels unattainable atm.

Day 2
In the morning I tried gain information on how to after-care.
Not many results found on the internet, maybe I should write down my experiences to help out others.
I decided to "air" the wound if it would be looking closed.
After removing bandage, I noticed swelling of the exposed head. The wound looked neat, clean and hadn't bled during the night. I decided not to rebandage, but just keep a sterile pad covering the stitches to avoid rubbing against clothing.
Thinking to change clothing style the upcoming days; the bandaged situation was comfortable with tight boxers, which kept my penis in one place. Without bandage, the rubbing is felt and is highly uncomfortable. (certainly because my head and the stitches are exposed.)

Day 1
Woken up with erection, painful.
With the tight tape, urinating was quasi impossible.
Sitting down and pushing with small pulses helped to get relief, but not instantly.
Because of the tight packing, the narrowing of the urinal track was causing the most discomfort.
Discomfort rised during the day, until finally the evening where it was passing my threshold. For the birthday of my girlfriend I had to do some shopping before I could rush home to get the bandage off. Possibly the walking around did no good.
Uncertain wether I had to rebandage, I assessed my situation: the wound was still open and started bleeding when trying to put my foreskin back. The swelling went down significantly, but the skin wouldn't settle comfortably of beautifully. So I decided to sterilize the wound and rebandage without the same force as the urologist had.
I reasoned it would also avoid contact with clothing and sheets during the night. I could urinate again (giving a sense of regained comfort), pain and pressure changed into a nagging (yet "healing") sensation of the stitches.

The operation
Not sure how to apply the creme and where he would cut I guessed to roll back my foreskin, apply a thick layer of creme where the frenulom is. Afterwards I've attached the 3mm tape over it: one over the creme, the other over the uncreamed top-side to hold the other tape into place. (which seemed a bit too small and didn't stick too well with all the creme.)
Closed off exit for urinating as well.
Entering:
I get a compliment I packed it well, after removal of the tape, I ask to pass the toilet (luckely I did! With the stress rising and waiting it was urgent. Later it would be more difficult.)
The operation starts, a cold room. I try to keep my head turned to white ceiling.
Pain was felt, and I started to sweat excessively but try not to move, keeping my respiration regularly. The urologist notices, but he's already started "we might get just along with it".
Turned out I didn't apply enough cream in the center, where I felt the cutting and stitching. Other as that I had no sensation. The nurse sympathized and told me it probably would feel as giving birth. (the pain wasn't that bad, I've had worse pains.) I told her that it's a good thing how pain is often forgotten fast; "the moment I'm walking out here it'll be forgotten, until the moment I'm in the same situation where it will all come back. But I'm hoping not to get a second of this procedure :)"
15 minutes later my penis was packed tight and given after-care cream with the mention to take it off the day after.

Introduction
Summer of 2010:
New girlfriend since some months.
Girlfriend had a spiral with nylon threads cut too long, which frequently gave little cuts on frenulum and foreskin. Those healed with applying creme and being obstinate for a few days.
Passionate night in a luxious hotel resulted in the frenulum being cut. ("cut the banjoy string"). Out of sense of guilth, girlfriend has her spiral removed asap. Too late.
Months pass:
After trying to work around the problem (pain, healing, recutting, uncomfortable sensation, using condoms, losing erection due to pain, ...) gained info with doctor: "because of scar-tissue, your frenulum isn't flexible as it used to be, causing it to tear and pull everything down."
Urologist appointment:
Verdict is "classic problem", and I'm sent off with a subscription for local aneastetic and a steroid-creme to stretch. "If you aren't happy with stretching, you apply the aneastetic an hour before coming in and we'll perform a frenuloplasty".
Stretching hurt, no results.
